Kazankage's Office Empty
PostSubject: Re: Kazankage's Office   Kazankage's Office EmptyFri Sep 19, 2008 10:10 pm

"What shall I do today after I am finished with work?" Grumbled Amai. Well, Kyoufu Amai to be exact. Sitting on a wooden rocking chair in his office, he had been looking at several documents, all neatly organized across his desk. To his right, were three open windows, with a banana plush on the side of each. The weather was warm, as usual due to the volcanoes around the country. But fortunately, the volcano closest to the city stood inactive for so long, especially for him; The Kazanage's building was closest to the legendary Sousouhi Volcano, so if the volcano were to erupt, he'd definitely see it.

As for the building, it was even made to vaguely resemble a volcano; Made of stone, jagged, and as of his reign of Kage, surrounded by a different monkey statue at the north, south, east and west directions at the back of the building, each with a different stance; The North Statue standing on one foot holding a scythe with it's mouth and with its hands chained together closely with its head and holding four Kunai by the holes of the handle's edges; East, being the silliest-looking stood hunched and smiling a crooked smile, though the creature leaned to the left, with its arms pointed in the left direction ((On its back was a shakujo staff and a large gourd without the bottlecap)) ; West, merely standing in an upright position; And south, crouching down and covering it's eyes with a very sad expression, almost as if crying ((What seemed to be a katana was connected to a rope at its right hip)); These four statues stood at the very back of his office, almost as if they were standing to watch the volcano.

Though there were two other monkey statues made of stone, with one holding a spear with a stern expression, and a second, crouching monkey crouching with a smug expression while holding a feather in its right hand, the former stood at the right side of the Kazankage's office while the latter stood at the left. Needless to say, some found it a bit strange as to why he would want such statues there; Some thought it was out of him being weird, others just thought it was a was a way for him to leave a legacy in his country.

But, only Amai knew of this. And right now, he wasn't focused on the statues.

Kazankage's Office Empty
PostSubject: Re: Kazankage's Office   Kazankage's Office EmptyFri Apr 10, 2009 4:03 am

As the Kazankage sat alone is his office pondering about what to do with his upcoming spare time, a small figure silently lurked around the very top of the volcano-like building. As the silhouette quietly moved about, the sun would soon reveal that it was only a harmless girl... Well, that is what one would think.

Maguma, Kohaku was actually a young boy, who would not be surprised if he were mistaken for for female. He sometimes blamed his mother for his appearance, for he very much resembled her more than he resembled his father. His build did not help him much in his appearance either. The boy did not exercise as much as normal genin should, so as a result, he barely had any muscles. However, it is a great wonder how this boy managed to get to where he is at the moment.

There was actually a fairly good reason as to why he was wandering around the rooftop of the Kazankage's office building; he was hiding.

At the foot of the great structure, there was a man who appeared to be searching for something, or someone. This particular man would be found wandering around the village from day to day looking for his son. The poor man did not even have a clue that the boy was always hiding from him. Kohaku would usually disappear once his father had the spare time to train him. The boy had always hoped that he would not be found until he decides to come home at the end of the day.

After a couple of minutes, Kohaku watched as his father gave up on the area and jumped onto a rooftop to proceed with the search. What a relief! It was starting to get a little uncomfortable on this jagged rock!

Making sure the coast was clear, the boy moved from his spot on the stone and began to climb down the face of the building. He actually found that he was having a more of a difficult time going down than climbing up. It was probably because he could sense his father about to find him earlier and had enough adrenaline to climb up and avoid him. Now he kind of wished he had that same energy to help him get back down.

Focusing his chakra in his feet would make the journey much easier, but Kohaku had a slight problem with that. His chakra control is not exactly perfect. Heck, he even wonders how he got promoted to being a genin even though he was trying to flunk out of the academy before that. He barely knew any techniques, let alone know how to preform them. The boy was a very pathetic genin and he, himself, knew that. He also wonders why his father insists on training such a weak shinobi such as himself. With all the days of training he skipped out on, it was completely obvious that Kohaku did not have much interest.

Climbing down was taking him a lot more time than he had originally thought, and if his feet do not touch the ground soon, his arms would end up giving out very soo- Uh oh...

As hard as he tried to hold himself up, he slipped off and began sliding down the face of the building. Before long, he found himself about to go past what looked to be an indent in the rock, and his quickly grabbed onto its ledge before he would proceed any further. Now Kohaku was hanging off of the side of the building, and all he would need to worry about now is having enough strength to pull himself up before his arm gives out again.

With a bit of trouble, he managed to pull his weight up and found that he had been holding onto a window ledge. He peered inside before realizing that this was this was the kage's. Kohaku was not exactly quiet with all the grunting he did with trying to pull himself up. Surely, the Kazankage would have noticed the boy even before he realized that he had disturbed the busy man.

"Don't... Mind... Ugh! Me." Kohaku said as he struggled with keeping himself from slipping off again. His foot felt around below him for something to stand on. "Just... Passing through... As usua-GAH!"

His arm finally gave out once again as he was literally hanging on to the ledge by the tips of his fingers.

Oh, no! thought Amai. With his expression darkening with both shock and bemusement, the Kazankage immediately set his documents onto the desk. "What is boy doing?!" he yelled.

With the sudden, and rather noisy appearance of Kohaku, Amai arose from his very chair, making a dash for the window. With Kohaku hanging onto the window with his very life; For Kohaku, it was extremely fortunate that all of his own windows were open; And here he was, now standing over the genin, who had been hanging on his window; Leaning his body forward, he soon veered hs left arm forward to grab the right wrist of the genin.
